Phillip Rye

With over 20 years of experience in residential, energy efficient construction across the country and home building in Arkansas, Phillip Rye has become a leading expert in energy efficiency.  He can show you how to have the most energy efficient home possible, at the most practical costs and many times at NO additional costs! Phillip has worked with clients all across the United States and even Canada, teaching them how to build a super energy efficient home.  

 

Combined with his widespread background, education, and training, Phillip also has extensive knowledge in energy efficiency as it affects the house as an entire system.  He has years of experience teaching people all across the country about geothermal heat pumps, cellulose insulation, foam insulation, and all global aspects of energy efficiency.

 

Phillip obtained a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and is a licensed civil engineer who also holds an LSIT (Land Surveyor In Training) certificate. He has 12 years of experience working as an engineer at the Arkansas Highway Department in the Roadway Design and Land Surveys Divisions.  His experience in engineering design and surveying have proven to be invaluable in helping clients in home design and layout.  No other builder in Central Arkansas has the in-house expertise to walk clients through the design process and import surveys and contours showing exactly how the house will fit on their lot and show the terrain to match.  This is a very important process in determining house location and pricing and is often overlooked or skipped.

 April Rye serves as the Executive Assistant at Rye General Contractors, where her meticulous organization, proactive problem-solving, and unmatched dedication make her an integral part of the company’s leadership team. With a professional background that blends administrative excellence with a deep understanding of the construction and contracting industry, April ensures that daily operations run seamlessly under the guidance of Phillip Rye, the company’s President and Owner.

April’s role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from managing schedules and coordinating key meetings to overseeing communications and supporting project planning initiatives. Known for her ability to streamline complex processes, she acts as a bridge between clients, contractors, and leadership, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned in pursuit of Rye General Contractors’ mission to deliver excellence in every project.

Outside of her professional life, April is passionate about community development and is actively involved in initiatives that bring positive change to local neighborhoods—values that closely align with Rye General Contractors’ commitment to building stronger communities. She balances her demanding role with an energetic approach to personal growth and family life, embodying the same values of diligence and integrity that define the company’s reputation.

After spending over 12 years in the laboratory world, she transitioned to the online space to help business owners and CEOs streamline their processes and run their businesses more efficiently. With a love for checklists and a knack for marketing,

Kayla thrives on creating order out of chaos and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Carlton Brown

With over 20 years of experience in residential and commercial construction, Carlton Brown serves as Project Manager at Rye General Contractors. Known for his expertise in project management, team leadership, and client relations, Carlton ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Previously, Carlton owned and operated C&S Business Services, LLC, managing construction projects from start to finish while fostering strong client relationships. He also has a background in education, teaching business courses and coaching sports teams at local schools.

A dedicated pastor and community leader, Carlton is committed to delivering quality construction solutions while upholding strong ethical values.
